HR wasnāt originally part of this (even if I have genuinely been thinking about my Alexei while watching) but then a reader mentioned to me how they thought my characters would be enjoying it tooā¦and after that, honestly it brought this to a whole other level for me, haha

ahh but your books ARE an escape, because you present a world where people care so deeply about each other, which a) allows us to escape into that kind of a world which is not always the one we see outside our windows and b) allows us to believe that that kind of world is possible
